Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Wurayo ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through wurayo.com and our booking platform, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Contact information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and phone number, when you join our waitlist, book a consultation, or contact us.
- Information submitted through intake or consultation forms, which may include hair and skin history and relevant health background used solely to build your treatment plan.
- Basic technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) collected automatically through standard website analytics tools.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to inquiries, manage your waitlist or booking status, and communicate with you about appointments.
- To personalize your consultation and treatment plan.
- To send opening updates and, if you opt in, marketing communications. You can unsubscribe at any time.
How We Protect Your Information
We treat all client information — especially health and treatment-related details you share with us — with HIPAA-grade care, using industry-standard safeguards to protect it from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
We Do Not Sell Your Information
Wurayo does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes, ever.
How We Share Your Information
We share limited information only with trusted service providers who help us operate our business — such as our booking platform, email/SMS provider, and website host — solely to perform those services on our behalf. Appointment booking, scheduling, and related account information are processed through our booking partner, Vagaro, whose own privacy practices are described in the Vagaro Privacy Policy.
Cookies & Advertising
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to operate this site and understand how it is used. With your permission, we also use the Meta Pixel, a measurement tool from Meta (Facebook), which shares standard web information — such as page addresses and how you arrived at the site — with Meta so we can measure whether our advertising leads to inquiries and bookings. The Pixel does not receive your name, contact details, or any health information, and we do not send booking or treatment details to advertising platforms.
In regions where consent is required by law, the Pixel loads only after you accept advertising cookies, and it does not load until you do. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page; declining takes effect immediately. Where consent is not legally required, the Pixel runs by default and you can still turn it off through “Cookie settings.” Meta’s handling of the information it receives is described in the Meta Privacy Policy.
Your Right to Delete Your Information
You can request that we delete your personal information at any time. To do so, contact us at hello@wurayo.com, or use Vagaro’s own privacy request process for information stored in your booking account. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable time, consistent with any records we’re required to retain for legal or accounting purposes.
Your Other Choices
You may also ask us to access or correct your personal information at any time by contacting us at hello@wurayo.com.
