Most people who come to Wurayo have already tried everything else — years of shaving, waxing, threading, creams, or laser sessions that thinned the hair without ending it. They are not looking for another routine. They are looking for the last one.
Electrolysis is the only method the FDA recognizes as permanent hair removal, and it works on every skin tone and every hair color. That is the whole reason this studio exists.

I have spent fourteen years in beauty and wellness, and in that time I met the same person over and over: someone who had spent real money and real years managing hair that always came back.
That led me to electrolysis, and I trained in it properly rather than adding it to a menu. My training covers all three modalities — galvanic, thermolysis, and blend — along with skin and hair physiology, sterile single-use technique, and how hormones, medication, and skin type change a treatment plan. I am licensed to practice, and I keep training as the work and the technology evolve.
Every appointment at Wurayo is treated by me. Nothing is handed off.
The name comes from Yoruba. Wura means gold, something precious. Yo, from Ayo, means joy. Together they describe what I want you to leave with.

How the studio runs
One client at a time
Wurayo is appointment only. Your session is yours, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave.
Sterile, single-use, every time
A new sterile probe is opened in front of you at every appointment and disposed of afterwards. Surfaces, equipment, and linens are changed between clients.
Honest timelines
I would rather give you an accurate plan than a flattering one. Your pacing is written down at consultation and reviewed together every three sessions.

Who is welcome here
PCOS and hormonal growth, facial hair, men’s ear, back, and beard hair, gender-affirming clearance, ingrown-prone skin, or simply being done with the razor — all of it is ordinary work here, and none of it needs explaining twice.
What happens in the studio stays in the studio.
